Manual Shrink Wrapping

Manual shrink wrapping is a great way to protect goods and pallets whilst they are transported and stored. It involves using a thick polythene sheet or bag that when heat is applied shrinks and conforms to the product shape. The heat source is a propane gas fired heat shrink gun.

Yes they are and have been made right here in the UK for they have been helping secure and shrink wrap pallets for nearly 20 years.

When combined with polythene shrink covers and centrefold polythene shrink sheeting it allows for far greater pallet stability. Shrink wrapping pallets makes them easier to load unload and move around especially with forklifts and other handling equipment.

By shrink wrapping pallets with a gas heat shrink gun creates a tight, durable cover that helps to secure the load, minimizing the risk of goods shifting or falling during transit.
