Our hand strapping product range covers all the types of strapping required differing applications. They include:
Polypropylene Strapping - This is the most popular choice of strapping due to the relatively low cost of the raw material.. Polypropylene strapping is suited to everyday requirements and is compatible with most types of metal seals and friction-weld sealing used in automated strapping machinery.
Extruded Polyester Strapping (PET) - Extruded polyester strapping is much stronger than polypropylene and used as an alternative to steel strapping. It doesn't corrode and is more flexible. It has better memory, so it can expand with the movement encountered during transport/ shipping and contracts to its original dimensions, reducing the likelihood of damage. It weighs less, is easier to recycle and presents less risk of injury in the event of the strap being cut or bursting. Extruded polyester strapping is compatible with serrated metal seals.
Woven Cord Polyester Strapping - Woven cord strapping is made from bidirectional woven polyester filaments. It is used for general manual strapping and is compatible with sherardised steel and plastic buckles. Optimum strength is gained when the strap and buckle is used together and is a safer and greener alternative to steel strapping.
Steel Strapping - Steel strapping is usually manufactured from zinc coated or black steel and is primarily used for heavy duty manual strapping applications, such as in the construction and timber industries. Compatible with snap on seals.
