Extruded polyester strapping supplies

PET strapping has a far higher tensile strength than PP this makes it suitable for heavy loads, such as bricks & blocks, timber & joinery product and If the load is heavy or has sharp edges, PET is the safer choice.

Polypropylene strapping can elongate and relax over time as it does this it will become loose, the qualities of extruded polyester are more in line with steel so it holds it tension far better. PET strapping as it is sometimes called acts like a spring with far better memory (tension retention) so absorbs impacts, vibration and movement far better than other strapping types
