Extruded polyester strapping is much stronger than polypropylene and used as an alternative to steel strapping. It doesn't corrode and is more flexible. It has better memory, so it can expand with the movement encountered during transport/ shipping and contracts to its original dimensions, reducing the likelihood of damage. It weighs less, is easier to recycle and presents less risk of injury in the event of the strap being cut or bursting. Extruded polyester strapping is compatible with serrated metal seals.
